Snippets of Time
Today is one of my "Wellness Days" from work. My very long to-do list started with my daughter's 4-year health exam, a few errands, and lunch with my son at school. I have an hour-and-a-half before he gets off the bus and we need to leave so that I can drop him off at my mom's and head to the dentist for yet another crown.
I'm going to make the most of this time and work on some revisions--slash clean my office when my computer decides to freeze up. That's all I get these days -- snippets of time to sort through a pile of miscellaneous papers on my desk or revise another chapter or research an agent or prepare another query.
I'll take what I can get. I'm usually doing this kind of thing at 10 or 11 o'clock at night, so I'm thrilled to sneak in some time during a quiet, peaceful afternoon in an empty house.

Before, obviously. |
