Mobile Blogging and The Hunger Games

News flash: I have entered the world of mobile blogging. This is a very exciting development. And I have a funny feeling that I will be wasting a lot of time playing with my new phone this week.

Last week, I was a bit more productive with my spare time. I read the three Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins. The first took the
longest -- I didn't really get into it until the Games started-- but I plowed through the next two. I'm a late arrival to the Hunger Games bandwagon.  The stories are quite compelling and so well written.  I can learn a great deal from the structure of these YA novels.

I selected the first book as my pick for book club -- we discuss tomorrow night and I'm really looking forward to it.

I love when I can get lost in another world through the pages of a book, and I hope I can achieve that with my own writing.
