What I'm Doing Right Now

...instead of what I should be doing (folding laundry, ironing, getting lunches and backpacks ready):

Tonight I am using our shiny new laptop, thanks to my husband, Hammer Guy, who spent his day off setting it up.  In addition to being shiny and new, it's very lightweight and runs like a dream.  Love!

I have also begun my Google migration, transferring all of my profile and blog info from one email address to a new one.  That's a long story, and it makes me grumpy, so I will spare you the details.

Now that I've settled into my new job, I need to dive into my new year's to-do list:
  • Complete the ICL course I started three years ago.  (yikes.)
  • WAITING FOR THE SUN has been patiently waiting for me.  Need to complete first draft by February 10.  Revisions by March 10.
  • Start querying again.
  • Create blog schedule.
  • Collaborate on a new YA blog/social media/resource site for Minnesota writers.  More details to follow!
All this plus the usual: eat better, lose weight, exercise, get organized, etc.

Wish me luck.
