WHAT I'M READING
My reading streak continues. I've read 6.5 books since last Wednesday's post - the .5 being one that I just could not bear any longer. I really loved BLUE LILY, LILY BLUE by Maggie Stiefvater and am looking forward to the concluding book of the series. Yesterday I finished ALL OUR YESTERDAYS by Cristin Terrell. Fantastic. While waiting at the clinic with my son for a strep test, I gasped out loud several times during the final pages. I love wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey type books like this - in fact, I'm revising one right now.

WHAT I'M WRITING
Well, actually, I'm not revising that timey-wimey book. I seem to have taken a few days off from revisions. See above. So my goal for the next week is to get back on track. I have until December 31 to finish this revision, so I'd better get crackin'!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW
The first cold of the season paid a surprise visit yesterday and we're not getting along very well, especially since I've got a sick kid, too. I've only got three more days of work until a week-long vacation, which will include dentist appointments, writing and getting caught up on blog visits, Christmas celebrations with my family, and continuing the tradition of seeing a movie the day after Christmas with my daughter and my sister-in-law who has lots of boys in her house and likes to see the girly movies with us. Last year was FROZEN. This year, INTO THE WOODS. Super excited for that!

Don't forget to enter  my giveaway for either a paperback copy of WILL THE REAL PRINCE CHARMING PLEASE STAND UP? by Ella Martin or ONE, TWO, THREE by Elodie Nowodazkij!

  5. I can't wait to see INTO THE WOODS! You're totally on a roll with reading. I've been taking way too long to get through the few books I've picked up this month. All I want for Christmas is several hours straight to read a really fantastic book. Best of luck on your revision! Have a Merry Christmas, Sara! :D

  6. I'm loving Blue Lily Lily Blue! I can't say the same for All Our Yesterdays. It was good but it made me so mad for some reason. I do enjoy time travel stories though. Best of luck on yours!

I also love time travel books, and I liked most of All Our Yesterdays until the end. I had issues with it unfortunately. :(
Good luck on those revisions when you get back to them!
