Zut alors! I have missed one!

Here are Sarah's 11 questions... and my 11 answers.
2) Shakespeare: yay or nay? Absolutley YAY!
3) Do you have any guilty pleasures? Oh yes, a few too many to mention. Mainly they reside in my pantry.
4) What is your favorite thing to write about? Family relationships and home.
5) Choice of the century: cake or pie? Good grief! These questions are hard! Cake.
6) Got any non-writing hobbies? Does reading count? How about shopping at Target? I used to travel a lot before I had kids. I like to walk but don't go as much as I would like.
7) If you had a theme song, what would it be? Well, here's the first thing that popped into my mind:
We're gonna make our dreams come true!
8) What's your favorite writing snack? Coffee.
9) Do you have any pets? Not at this time. We lost our 16-year-old schnauzer-bichon a little more than a year ago and we're not ready for another. I'm a cat person but my husband is allergic, so that's out.
10) If you could live anywhere, where would it be? I'd move back to Duluth or somewhere along the North Shore of Lake Superior. I have a signed document from my husband agreeing to this someday. He agreed mainly because of the beer at Fitger's Brewhouse.
11) Got any book recommendations? I mentioned this in my previous post: THE SWEETEST THING by Christina Mandelski:
A more recent read is THE STATISTICAL PROBABILITY OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT by Jennifer E. Smith, which combines three of my favorite things: a contemporary love story, family drama, and London.

Last night I picked up this little gem:

"Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey
tells the story behind Highclere Castle, the real-life inspiration and
setting for Julian Fellowes’s Emmy Award-winning PBS show, and the life
of one of its most famous inhabitants, Lady Almina, the 5th Countess of
Carnarvon. Drawing on a rich store of materials from the archives of
Highclere Castle, including diaries, letters, and photographs, the
current Lady Carnarvon has written a transporting story of this fabled
home on the brink of war."
Maybe as I'm cleaning my house, running to the bank and the grocery store, and helping my son with his homework today, I'll think of eleven questions to ask YOU! In the meantime, feel free to leave your answers to the above questions below.
I'd especially like to hear your book recommendations.
Oh my gosh, I love the title of your post because I loved the Little Mermaid! Reading totally counts as a non-writing hobby because I count it as that. ;)
