YAB::SWB Update: Easy Does It Edition

I accomplished everything I set out to do last week - I met my goals each day and awarded myself with Peanuts stickers on the calendar each day. But I did not push myself. I eased into it, having just come off the month-long Writer Recharge. In fact, while I did work on something writing-related each day, I did not even open the KEYS document.
Week One Accomplishments:
- Read and critiqued an amazing, anxiety-causing, brilliant manuscript by my CP Dawn Klehr.
- Updated my SP Critique & Editing Services page with additional information and did some other business-planning type stuff.
- Read books: SOMETHING LIKE NORMAL (LOVED!) and WHERE THE STARS STILL SHINE by Trish Doller, THE PROMISE OF AMAZING by Robin Constantine (ADORED!), and HEARTBEAT by Elizabeth Scott. And yeah, okay, I admit, I'm listening to the Ruby Red trilogy on audiobook again. I'm really quite productive while I listen.
- I took my lunch break each day.

The Plan for Week Two:
- Toad officially crosses over to Boy Scouts tonight and I have some final Cub Scouts stuff to take care of.
- Work on KEYS - I had a great idea Sunday morning and need to get it down on paper before it slips away.
- Read and critique two selections for MNYA Writers, as we meet on Saturday.
- Connect with my Bootcamp teammates.
Great progress! I LOVED Something Like Normal. Good luck with your goals this week!
ReplyDeleteI *almost* started on SOMETHING LIKE NORMAL this weekend, but another book caught my eye on my e-Reader. Maybe next week? Great job with meeting your goals!
ReplyDeleteOMG - those CUPCAKES. *drools*
ReplyDeleteAlso, you read three of my favorite reads from last year. LOVE Trish Doller! Good luck with your goals this week, Sara! Go Team to be Named soon!
