The Writing Cave
Dear friends,
Excuse me while I slip into my writing cave.
September is nearly over and I have little to show for it. I've let the insanity of school and kids' activities -- and a new dream for CLOUD 9 -- get in the way of my writing.
But yesterday I received some news about CLOUD 9 -- not the news I wanted to hear -- and I know that it's time to get back on track.
I meet with my critique group this weekend and then it's time to return to my writing cave and write every day. WAITING FOR THE SUN is waiting for me. That means I'm going to step away from the blog for a while (although I might poke my head out of the cave for Road Trips on Wednesdays) and my time visiting others' blogs will be even more limited.
Thanks for your encouragement and good wishes over the last few weeks while I waited on C9. See you soon.

Sometimes a no is what we need to hear to move on to a project that can become our yet. :)
ReplyDeleteLike you, I have done little the last 2 weeks, which makes me feel terrible. I'm also taking time off blogging and disappearing in my writing cave.
ReplyDeleteSorry the news wasn't what you wanted to here. Good for you for taking time away from blogging to work on writing though.
ReplyDeleteSorry the news wasn't more positive. Good luck working on CLOUD and SUN. You can do it, Sara!! I have faith that it will all work out.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on your writing, Sara. Though, we will miss you around these parts. :)
ReplyDeleteGo, Sara, Go!
ReplyDeleteI'm so very sorry about the bad news, but big props to you for jumping right back on the horse. Determination is the road to accomplishing your dreams! Good luck on your new WIP! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou and I are on the same wavelength. I'm debating right this second whether I should take a break from my blog for the week so I can finish my second novel. Your post just might be the sign I needed to go ahead and take a hiatus. To the writing cave, we go. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on finishing!!
Have fun in the writing cave :) see you when you pop out! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGo get it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the cave! You can do this!
